Job Description:
Job Location: 208 S. Akard St. (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home)
Duties:
- Participate in User Requirement workshops and decompose Business Features into Tech User Story.
- Interact with client during the Sprint grooming, planning, Daily Scrum calls and demos.
- Design, develop, document, and analyze the overall architecture of systems.
- Highlight issues, risks, limitations for present and future deliverables.
- Understand change requests raised by the client after development starts.
- Design scalable systems considering overall traffic and load.
- Analyze and design highly robust systems with stability, integrity, and CDN support.
- Design APIs using microservices architecture to support micro deployment design.
- Implement flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and workflows for APIs.
- Document design specifications and setup instructions.
- Develop User Interface, microservices, and fully integrate third-party APIs with microservices according to functional domain and design.
- Perform enhancements and fix bugs in existing code.
- Follow code quality standards according to sonar quality checks.
- Implement Mockito test cases for integration level sanity.
- Review test cases to ensure Unit Test Plan covers all conditions in program specifications.
- Code deployment to environment using Jenkins, Tomcat, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Review test cases for all functional requirements.
- Conduct demos for Testing Team to provide knowledge of new requirements implementation.
- Keep track of the status of all defects opened during test execution.
- Prioritize, troubleshoot, and fix defects.
- Monitor services deployed in environments and provide support for analyzing and troubleshooting issues.
- Monitor application with Dynatrace, EFK, and Splunk.
- Utilize ReactJs, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript and related front-end technologies.
- Use client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery and React).
- Utilize NVDA (Non-Visual Desktop Access) activities for accessibility testing, using Quantum Metric, Dynatrace, and application logger tools for engineering activities, web performance tuning, and troubleshooting production issues.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Systems and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing ReactJs, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and related front-end technologies; using client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery and React); utilizing NVDA (Non-Visual Desktop Access) activities for accessibility testing, utilizing Quantum Metric, Dynatrace, and application logger tools for engineering activities, web performance tuning, and troubleshooting production issues; and rendering server-side experience with NodeJS.
Salary: Our Lead Software Engineers earn between $149,781 - $231,100 yearly.
