.NET Developer

TalEx is partnering with a large financial services organization to identify a Senior .NET Engineer for a contract role in Owings Mills, MD.

Job Summary

1. Hands-on software development experience on various platforms, including Microsoft or Non-Microsoft line of products.
2. Software development and database administration experience.
3. Build COTS or custom solutions on both On-Premise and Cloud based platforms.
4. Use multiple Programming Languages including .NET, ColdFusion and Java are preferred more than C#.
5. QlikView/QlikSense, Microstrategy a big plus.
6. Agile Experience / Focus working on TSQL, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS, especially SSAS.

Key Skills & Experience

1. 7-10 years of Software Development Experience.
2. Minimum 5 years of .NET development experience.
3. Minimum 5 years of hands-on SQL Server with BI report development experience.
4. Must have advanced SQL Server BI skills (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) in a SQL Server 2008/2012 environment, SQL 2014 preferred.
5. Advanced T-SQL skills.
6. Advanced ETL design, development and maintenance.

Preferred Experience

1. Development experience as a developer using the .NET Framework required, C# experience is a plus.
2. Ability to solve problems quickly and completely.
3. Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with all members of the agile team.
5. Support junior team members.
6. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.
