Lacework is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End with proven experience in leading critical and architectural decisions for a development team, providing sound technical direction, and communicating effectively. You will work within a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and quality engineers in a fast-paced startup environment. Our engineering teams are fast moving and highly impactful. You will learn from the best and help us architect and build the application of our future.
The Role
- Work with engineering, PMs, customers, and sales to scope and plan front-end interfaces for security products/features
- Architect, design, and implement front-end applications that provide availability, scalability and latency guarantees
- Write scalable, maintainable, and testable code
- Lead refinement of the technical roadmap for front-end improvements.
- Construct framework-level enhancements that improve the way software development is implemented by the team
- Communicate within and between teams on progress, challenges and milestones
- Develop infrastructure as required to monitor and scale
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of related experience with a technical Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent
- Expert skills in Javascript, HTML, CSS, and have experience developing full-featured client-side applications using modern Javascript technologies such as React/Redux
- Experience with modern build and dependency management processes and tools: Webpack, Yarn, Node, npm
- Experience with Database systems such as Snowflake/MySQL
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems
- Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge/experience with AWS-stack a plus
