Infosys is looking for Fiber Design Engineer . You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose, and create the solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and contribute to the proposal development, client training, internal capability building, and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.


Required Qualifications:

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position requires travel.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 2 Years of experience in Designing Fiber (FTTx) network infrastructure

Experience in supporting activities to construct, operate, and maintain the fiber network infrastructure.

Experience in developing detailed plans for fiber optic network layouts, including the placement of cables and connection points.

Provide technical support and guidance during the installation and maintenance of fiber optic systems

Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and best practices.

Preferred Skills:

Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and external vendors to ensure seamless network integration.

Must be able to prioritize multiple orders and perform under strict deadlines.

Working knowledge of computer software systems, utilizing multiple window screens, e-mail, and web-based applications.
