The Senior Storage Systems Engineer will work with a team and independently to support our clients in the public and private sector.
This Engineer will work to troubleshoot and optimize storage systems solutions for our clients. They will manage and monitor all installed storage systems and infrastructure where needed. The Engineer will perform all responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Demonstrate working knowledge of Linux and Windows server operating systems with an emphasis towards storage administration and performance management
- Demonstrate working knowledge and management of cloud and container architectures.
- Demonstrate an ability to perform automation scripting and familiarity with infrastructure as code
- Demonstrate familiarity with storage technologies
- Architect and deploy functional infrastructure environments for medium, large and enterprise clients
- Maintain complete technical documentation and project, ticket updates
- Monitor and manage performance, security, and integrity of client’s server and hardware infrastructure
- Possess highly developed troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrate willingness to work within a team, provide training and collaboration with other team members
- On-Call rotation required
- Demonstrate highly developed customer service skills

OTHER DUTIES
could include the following:
- Architect, Implement, and Maintain Backup Storage Infrastructure Services for server and cloud environments
- Administer client cloud environments
- Carry out other automation projects benefitting the organization and clients
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 Years’ Experience architecting or administering storage
