POSITION - CNC Machinist
JOB LOCATION - Chippewa Falls, WI
STARTING DATE - Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM - Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE - Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) - 1st Shift (6am-4:30pm, Mon-Thurs)
STARTING PAY - $23.51-$29.00/hour (Depending on Experience)

EDUCATION- HS Diploma or equivalent required, 2-year technical certification or equivalent experience preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - 1 to 3 years related experience in a metal fabrication setting; and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. CNC operator experience preferred.
As a CNC Machinist I, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. This role involves setting up machines, loading materials, monitoring machine processes, and performing basic maintenance tasks. Under the guidance of experienced machinists, you will play a crucial role in contributing to our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities

  • Set up CNC machines by loading the appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure precise machining.
  • Operate CNC machines to produce components, monitor machine performance, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform routine quality inspections using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part dimensions.
  • Make tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments as instructed by senior CNC operators or programmers.
  • Conduct basic machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes.
  • Report any machine malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Assist in documenting production records, such as part counts and machine logs.
  • Collaborate with senior CNC operators to enhance machining skills and knowledge.
  • Operate CNC machines to manufacture production parts and assemblies.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a 2-year technical certification or relevant experience preferred.
  • Consistently produce high-quality products that meet required specifications.
  • Meet production output goals by producing the required quantity of products.
  • Understand machine operations and the flow of completed components.
  • Use computers and measuring tools as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Successfully operate hand tools, machines, and equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Contribute as a productive team member, supporting the organization's success.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Show initiative by identifying and completing tasks without direct instruction from supervisors or lead personnel.
  • Demonstrate reliability through good attendance.
