We are currently seeking a Part-time Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with at least 15+ years’ experience to join our exciting team. The successful candidate will be required to provide civil/structural leadership and experience on small ($10M) to large ($100M) projects. The ideal candidate must have extensive civil engineering experience covering earthworks and civil/structural design.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering
- A minimum of 15+ years of relevant work experience
- Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) and/or PE in CO, WY, TX & NM
- Willing to travel and work in the United States for limited periods
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Demonstrated strong ability to foster ongoing relationships with clients
- Proven project management experience
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring of junior staff
- Ensure project designs are fit-for-purpose and meet project expectations (such as performance and cost) as well as technical, regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements
- Good application of engineering principles, codes, and standards to identify issues, recommend improvements, and implement solutions
- Client-focused with an ability to provide innovative and practical engineering solutions within the requirements of the project
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and be self-motivated
