Electrical Engineering Intern- Summer 2025

In the role of Engineering Intern, you will:

1. Work with Engineers-In-Training, Professional Engineers, and local company leadership through our mentoring and young professionals' programs
2. Leverage classroom knowledge and theory to gain real-world experience working on actual client projects that support electric reliability, system resiliency, system protection, and plant betterment
3. Execute assigned tasks, which may involve conducting field work to assess existing conditions, performing calculations and analyses to develop design solutions, and preparing drawings for use in construction of new facilities
4. Learn to apply industry codes and client engineering and construction standards to your designs
5. Build professional confidence and technical skills to jump start a successful career in electrical engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
• Local candidates strongly preferred

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
• Attention to detail
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
