Job Highlights – Systems Engineer
Location - Jefferson City, Missouri (not remote)
Responsibilities
• The Systems Engineer will design / architect, configure, implement and support server, hardware, and cloud infrastructures for a broad range of customers
• The Engineer will work with a team and independently to support our clients in the public and private sectors
• The Engineer will perform all responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Requirements:
• Demonstrate working knowledge of Linux Operating System
• Demonstrate working knowledge and management of cloud and container architectures.
• Demonstrate an ability to perform automation scripting and familiarity with infrastructure as code
• Demonstrate familiarity with hypervisor technologies
• Architect and deploy functional infrastructure environments for medium, large and enterprise clients
• Maintain complete technical documentation and project, ticket updates
• Monitor and manage performance, security, and integrity of client’s server and hardware infrastructure
• Identify and recommend improvements for system performance, capacity and scalability
• Possess highly developed troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrate willingness to work within a team, provide training and collaboration with other team members
• On-Call rotation required

Other duties and desired experience:
• Architect, Implement, and Maintain Backup Infrastructure Services for server and cloud environments
• Deployment of OpenShift Infrastructure and Ansible Playbooks
• Administer client cloud environments
• Carry out other automation projects benefitting the organization and clients
