What You Will Be Doing
Are you ready to orchestrate the future of cloud-based applications? As our aPaaS Architect and Operational Manager, you’ll be the maestro behind the scenes, harmonizing ServiceNow, Umbraco CMS, and SharePoint into a symphony of seamless user experiences.

Coordinate development, and supervises all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions to meet the business requirements of the organization. The integration needs are primarily focused on connecting on-premises and cloud-based commercial software applications, such as HR/ERP, CRM, CMS, CSM, and ITSM.

Currently this position is focused on the ServiceNow platform as a user experience and business process/workflow hub as part of the State`s Cloud First strategy. Be the bridge between business vision and technical execution. As our Demand Manager/Scrum Master, you’ll be the conduit for collecting new demands from business stakeholders, ensuring they harmonize with our ServiceNow platform.

You will guide the team to ensure platform stability, security, and scalability.

The Working Environment You Can Expect
The working social environment will center around telework. Regular attendance at daily/weekly meetings will be essential to stay abreast of ongoing projects.

This position is being recruited as a dual-location recruitment, and can be at either the 333 Willoughby Ave, 5th floor in Juneau, or 550 West 7th Ave, 12th Floor in Anchorage.

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in:

  • Configuration Management: Knowledge of the principles and methods for planning or managing the implementation, update, or integration of information systems components.

  • Infrastructure Design: Knowledge of the architecture and typology of software, hardware, and networks, including LANS, WANS, and telecommunications systems, their components and associated protocols and standards, and how they operate and integrate with one another and with associated controlling software.

  • Operating Systems: Knowledge of computer network, desktop, and mainframe operating systems and their applications.

  • Systems Integration: Knowledge of the principles, methods, and procedures for installing, integrating, and optimizing information systems components.

  • Systems Testing and Evaluation: Knowledge of principles, methods, and tools for analyzing and developing systems testing and evaluation procedures and technical characteristics of IT systems, including identifying critical operational issues.

Equivalent to those typically gained by:

Training in computer science, information technology, system administration, or a similar field and progressively responsible professional experience in database, network, and/or system analysis and system administration.

Special Note:
“Competencies” means a combination of interrelated knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors that enable a person to act effectively in a job or situation.

“Typically gained by” means the prevalent, usual method of gaining the competencies expected for entry into the job.

“Training” means the process of acquiring knowledge and skills through instruction.
