Woolpert is seeking a Water Program Director in Ohio to assist with growing our water services which include but are not limited to: Wet Infrastructure Management and Condition Assessment, Water / Wastewater / Stormwater Design, Watershed Studies, Surface Water Monitoring & Analysis, NPDES Stormwater Services, and Wastewater & Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Studies (SSES). We are looking for an eager, focused individual to continue to build our team to win project work locally and to complement Woolpert's existing Water capabilities throughout the US. This position is a hybrid role and may be located in any of our Ohio Offices: Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, or Toledo.

Responsibilities
    Sales and growth of our Water Market services focusing on Ohio through the establishment or improvement of client relationships.
  • Work across Market areas to develop business opportunities and assure services are performed in a manner compatible with Woolpert's goal of being an industry leader.
  • Build and enhance existing client relationships to identify and initiate additional project opportunities within the client base for Water services.
  • Identify and build new client relationships that match the client and project type focus and overall business strategy.
  • Promote Woolpert as an industry leader for Water services with new and existing clients.
  • Assist project managers in or performing negotiation of project schedule, fee, scope, and contract terms.
  • Mentor Project Managers and staff.
  • Work with Project Managers to identify, address and resolve any project issues impacting client goals, objectives and/or client satisfaction.
  • Define and communicate client needs and expectations.
  • Ensure continuous stakeholder (client, client's manager, etc.) communications addressing, resolving, and anticipating project issues.
  • Industry leader representing Woolpert by attending conferences and involvement in local and industry organizations, groups and committees.
  • Work experience and client relationships with local and state agencies in Ohio.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS and 16 years related experience, MA/MS and 14 years related experience or 20 years related experience.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license in Ohio required.
  • Candidate must have business development sales acumen and project management skills.
  • Must be able to make sound decisions/recommendations based on the evaluation and synthesis of information and data.
  • Must demonstrate an enterprising, innovative, proactive management approach.
  • Must possess high levels of demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Must be able to research and define multiple project scopes, schedules and budgets.
  • Must be able to establish and maintain rapport with clients, vendors, management, and employees.
  • Must possess strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess excellent facilitation and/or meeting skills.
  • Must possess excellent presentation and communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Must have Microsoft Office suite skills
  • Must be able to travel as required to meet the needs and demands of the Market.
