Job descriptionFunctions and Responsibilities:Understand complex fabrications and datum sequencing on blue printsBe able to machine large and complex weldmentsReview set up sheet and problem solve any concernsReview and run right angle head programRun all vertical and horizontal and boring bar machinesUnderstand basic vacuum set upsMentor new Team Members on machine center proceduresUse appropriate machining tools: go/no go gauges, calipers, inside micrometers, probesSet up, operate, and tend to preventative maintenance for CNC equipmentAssist in programming customer’s drawing into the machine using Virtual Gibbs/ G CodeInterpret and work from complex drawing and blue printsIdentify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and properly document such non-conformancesNotify supervisor when work received does not meet the specifications required by previous operatorsResponsible to record an accurate log of job times and specifications for audit reportsMaintain clean equipment/tools and work areaFollow established safety proceduresEducation:High School/GED - required1 year machining certification - preferredExperience:6+ years of machining experience1+ years of Haas Control – preferred1+ years of Fanuc Bridge Mill Controls - preferred1+ years of Tosnuc - preferredPhysical Demands: The physical demands described below are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
