Fillauer is searching for an Engineer III to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. As an Engineer III, you will be challenged to design leading edge lower upper limb prosthetic devices. You will manage large projects which will require hands on leadership, creative thinking, and determination to solve complex problems in a timely manner. You will be a team leader and interface with production and manufacturing personnel daily. The purpose of the work we do is to empower those with limb difference to reach greater human potential.

    Ability to learn quickly and handle challenging tasks well.

  • Provides guidance, correctly applies knowledge of engineering principles, material properties, and effectively uses internal and external resources to identify solutions in relevant aspects of production, development, procurement, and distribution of products.
  • Works on and/or manages conventional and complex projects.
  • Uses sound judgment and outside resources to adapt to non-routine aspects of a problem.
  • Is tasked with management of large projects. No review is necessary as regular progress updates are expected.





Minimum Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of related experience.
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

Unique skills or certifications needed to perform essential functions of the job:

Essential: SolidWorks, Microsoft Office

Useful: Machine Shop experience, LabVIEW, MATLAB, 3D printing, Altium
