SUMMARY
Lead a team of Test Engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining test procedures, hardware, and software for electronic circuit board production in a server manufacturing environment.
- Compensation : begins at $90,000 USD - negotiable based on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
Shift / Schedule
Work on 2nd shift: 5:00PM to 1:30AM, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime and/or weekends may be required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:
LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, interview, and develop Test Engineers.
- Establish measurable goals and objectives for team members.
- Provide communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information within the department.
FUNCTIONAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and implement Test Engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify ways to reduce costs and improve value through streamlined processes.
TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform duties involving conventional engineering practices for electronic testing.
- Compile and document data necessary to analyze performance and make recommendations for changes in the testing process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- 5-10 years' relevant experience in an electronics/hardware manufacturing environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primary workstation is in the office with some time on the manufacturing floor. Required PPE includes composite toed shoes, hearing protection, protective eyewear, and an ESD vest.
