Java Developer

Our client, one of the largest Amazon Web Services (AWS) partners for data services, is looking for a Mid to Senior level Java Developer to contribute to their team of technologists to build and contribute to large-scale, innovative projects. Responsibilities:

1. Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
2. Understanding project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
3. Critically analyze and triage incidents and problems.
4. Provide clear and timely resolutions to the customer.
5. Participate in regular status calls and quarterly business reviews.
6. Maintain, test, and document legacy Java code base.
7. Build interactive web applications, APIs, and algorithms based on AWS.
8. Optimize for performance and security.
9. Work with a team of engineers and help meet tight deadlines.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years of proven experience working in the IT industry.
2. A degree in Computer Science or similar subject.
3. Strong Java and Core Java programming skills.
4. Strong Back-end experience.
5. Machine Learning & Deep Learning (NLP) will be a big plus.
6. Solid AWS experience - EC2, S3.
7. 1+ years AWS experience, for example - ElasticSearch, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, Athena, Kinesis, EMR.
8. Knowledge of API platform.
9. Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
