Oracle Senior Oracle APEX Developer - Annapolis, Maryland

Responsibilities

Daily tasks involve working with the product team to transform requirements into specifications and then transforming those specifications into a working APEX application and features that enable development of APEX-based applications on the Oracle Cloud IoT service. You’ll be building APEX applications on the latest release of APEX, and will be required to write backend PL/SQL code using a suite of APIs to complement the applications. You will also work on high-profile proof-of-concept applications that integrate the latest available products and services in Oracle's Cloud.

Security is a major area of emphasis in the design, implementation, and delivery of the applications you'll be working on. Most applications you'll work on will interact with RESTful web services. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:

1. Ten years of Oracle Application Express experience
2. Ten years of experience working with most of the following (OK if you are less experienced on a couple):
1. Oracle Database
2. Data Modeling
3. PL/SQL
4. HTML/CSS
5. JSON / RESTful Web Services
6. Git
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with individuals across the organization
4. Experience working with Agile development frameworks

Range and Benefit Information: US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries, and lines of business.
