Summary
The CNC Operator will be responsible for cleaning the machine at the end of each shift.
Key Activities
- Make machine adjustments that may be required, check dimensions, to insure
- Conformance to drawings.
- Work in a shop environment safely with zero accidents and/or injuries.
- Set-up and operate CNC Machine Tools (Turning & or Milling / Drilling).
- Read CNC programs, familiar with G & M codes.
- Make minor edits to CNC programs.
- Read and interpret Engineered Blue Print drawings.
- Understand and apply geometric tolerances.
- Set up and safely use various inspection tools and gages.
- Machine to required tolerances of .001 - .005 .
- SQF/ISO requirements compliance.
Preferred Skills
- Fadal or HAAS controller experience is preferred.
Educations & Experience
- 5+ years' experience on CNC mills, CNC lathes and various manual machines.
- Familiarity with a Parlec Tool-Setter the Renishaw probe is a plus.
