Fisher Associates is looking for a motivated and talented entry-level Highway Engineer to join our dynamic Highway Team within the Transportation Group. The primary function of this role is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Ability to effectively complete assignments related to highway design, drainage design, alignments, and other duties applicable to these projects.
- Assist with field inspections and data collection for roadway projects.
- Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Proactively assist Project Managers and Designers.
- Work collaboratively with other team members, consultants, and our clients.
- Maintain accurate records of project details, including design documents, progress reports, and budget information.
Education & Experience
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 0-5 years minimum of transportation experience, highway engineering experience preferred.
- Intern Engineer certification (IE, formerly EIT) or ability to obtain it.
- Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, OpenRoads Software preferred.

Salary Description
$70,000 - $81,000
