Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the Engineering Manager - Print Operations are as follows:

• Support all technical aspects of printing for Pactiv Evergreen, with goals of maintaining quality and improving profitability.
• Manage significant capital projects including but not limited to requisitions, vendor visits, acceptance testing, and training site technical employees.
• Manage all PTVE printing vendors.
• Develop process methods and controls to meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot printer issues and product defect printing issues . Provide technical guidance, leadership, and training to resolve issues and educate site employees.
• Lead and/or support new equipment, process, and product trials and production start-up efforts.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• BS in an Engineering discipline with at least 7 years of applicable dry offset printing experience.
• Will consider candidates without a BS in Engineering if they have comparable experience.
• Experience with printing equipment such as Polytype, Van Dam, Kase, Oms .
• Recognized as a technical leader and key resource.
• Knowledge of electronics and PLCs preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and establish priorities.
• Familiarity with Computer Based Maintenance Management Systems.
• Supervisory experience with contract personnel and technical associates.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
