Description
The UI/UX Designer will play an internal role in the design process for the firm. Reporting into the VP of eCommerce. The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for optimizing the user experience, ensuring that customers have a smooth, enjoyable journey as they interact with our online stores, apps, and other digital touchpoints. The UI/UX Designer will also handle the following:
- Develop clean, elegant, and user-centered designs for websites, mobile apps, and other digital interfaces, reflecting the brand's identity and user needs.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to understand customer behavior, preferences, and pain points.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that illustrate functional design concepts and interactions.
- Plan and conduct usability tests to gather feedback and iterate on designs to improve usability and performance.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and marketers to align design strategies with business goals and technical constraints.
Profile
The successful UI/UX Designer would have the following experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably within the consumer goods or retail sector.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design for web and mobile platforms.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
