The team empowers not only celebrities-to-be to form new communities but also auxiliates public figures communicating their ideology effectively. The team aims to enhance advertising efficiency by improving business users' workflows on TikTok, such as continuously bringing inspiring content with the latest trends, actively engaging with their communities through private and public messaging, and confidently executing their ad campaigns with data insights into their targeted audiences.
We seek strong software engineers to build the best experience for users managing Digital Marketing, with highly scalable and reliable software partnering across disciplines and geographies. You will help businesses achieve the best results, enriching life for TikTok users, and bringing innovative business products to TikTok by collaborating with our Ads and organic manners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and continuously improve business users' experiences on TikTok.
- Optimize the performance of TikTok business users' interfaces.
- Resolve Javascript or layout cross-browser and compatibility problems.
- Optimize reliability, availability, and performance of globally distributed systems.
- Analyze product objectives to deliver results aligned with project goals.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with PM and R&D teams globally, in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering. Strong Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, software design) and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency and experience working with Javascript ES5 or later, CSS, and at least one frontend MV* framework such as React or Vue.
- Proficiency and experience with designing, implementing, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Collaborative mindset, with solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with ads, Instant Messaging systems, Advertisement Technology, or Digital Content Creation is a plus, but not required.
Job Information:
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $145,000 - $250,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
