Job Description: Altamira is looking for a skilled Software Developer with a robust technical background to contribute to our work in the Intelligence Community (IC). This role involves providing Agile Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) support for crucial data transfer architecture components. The focus is on enhancing reporting capabilities and delivering vital mission data to support commanders and warfighters across the globe. REQUIRED CLEARANCE: TS/SCI Required – CI Poly preferred or will be processed by Altamira.

Role: The ideal candidate will have experience in Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript (React) web development, and possess a Security+ certification. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems based on documented requirements. As part of our collaborative team, you will review and test software components, resolve problem reports, and contribute to system design. Qualified individuals should have 4-10 years of experience in similar programs, a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience), and proficiency in RESTful Web Services, Linux systems, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Git version control, and Amazon Web Services. Tasks Include

1. Develop and maintain/enhance complex and diverse software systems.
2. Work individually or as part of a team.
3. Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements.
4. Document test results.
5. Resolve software problem reports.
6. Utilize appropriate software development and design methodologies.
7. Provide specific input to the software components of system design.

Required Individual Qualifications

1. 4-10 years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another related discipline.
3. In lieu of a degree, four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted.

Technical Skills

1. Experience with Java, C/C++, Python.
2. Experience with JavaScript (React or Angular) web development.
3. Docker/Kubernetes containerization.
4. Security+ certification preferred.
5. Experience with RESTful Web Services.
6. Experience with Linux (Red Hat 7/8) systems.
7. Experience with MySQL (MariaDB), PostgreSQL.
8. Experience with Git version control.
9. Experience with Amazon Web Services.
