The Monetization Product team at TikTok focuses on building a global marketing platform that fuels growth for businesses of all sizes. TikTok is looking for talented Software Engineers to build ads products that make online advertising more accessible and effective for small and medium businesses (SMB). You will work with cross-functional teams across the globe.

Responsibilities

1. Build highly scalable and reliable systems including promotion, ad serving, marketing automation to efficiently and effectively grow TikTok SMB customers.
2. Take initiative and be responsible for technical solutions to data quality and workflow challenges.
3. Work with engineers and product managers to explore opportunities for SMB and develop solutions to resolve technical impediments and scoping out the roadmap.
4. Collaborate with strategy teams, product managers, policy teams and other key stakeholders to define products and drive initiatives from an engineering viewpoint.
5. Contribute to the success of a rapidly growing and evolving organization with speediness and quality.
6. Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
7. Focus on overall product quality and user experience.

Qualifications

1. Graduate obtaining a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
2. Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
3. Experience in Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, or Go.
4. Experience in any of the following: web/mobile application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed/parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, systems/security software development.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Have relevant experience in advertising, e-commerce and video industries.
2. Have experience in Machine learning, domain-driven design and complex infrastructure.
3. Great communication skills among multi-culture and multi-location teams.
4. Extremely result-driven and mission-driven.
5. Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.
6. Curiosity towards new technologies and entrepreneurship.
7. High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities.

Job Information:

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $112065 - $164160 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
