You have clear operational expectations from the system, and engineers, and can drive culture to form the go-forward basis for operational excellence with the team.

You have exposure to Cloud, SaaS, and virtualization concepts and performance concerns.

You contain knowledge and have experience defining and monitoring system's quality measures, SLO, and SLA.

You have built tooling to improve reliability of systems, automated remediation of issues, and improving scalability of platforms and systems.

You work backward, starting from the user or consumer. You care about creating usable, useful software that solves real problems and brings delight to users.

You work well with everyone. You can lead a conversation in a room with designers, engineers, and product managers.

Responsibilities

As a Director, you will own the team vision and execution of software design and development for major components of Oracle's Health Application & Infrastructure platform. You will apply your technical and organizational skills to solve delivery, support, and operational optimizations, while modernizing the services platform to meet the needs of next generation clinical application development.

The model candidate should have technical depth, architectural know-how, passion for building a world-class team, and demonstrated ability to balance work across initiatives. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.

The role will be responsible for managing a team of 6+ engineers with a variety of skillsets and experience levels.

The role will be responsible for coordinating with our product teams on work and priority to ensure the team has a concise vision and set of goals prepared.

The role will be responsible for ensuring the team meets key metrics, establishes milestones, and manages and achieves commitments.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only. US: Hiring Range: from $142,900 to $338,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
