Job Description
Seeking a skilled CNC machinist, mills or lathes, in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing facility. This is a job shop machining center that produces 20-70 pieces per project. Parts are complex and within tight tolerances
This will be working on 3rd shift, or "B-shift", from 7:30pm - 6:00am, Monday - Thursday
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate 3 or 5 Axis CNC mills or lathes to produce the required number of parts in a timely manner according to customer specifications.
Correctly set up jobs on assigned machines, which involves tool changes.
Perform first piece, in-process, and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, various gauges, and CMM equipment.
Perform data collection and communication tasks in Job Boss and other applications.
Diagnose and correct equipment or tool issues.
Read and interpret blueprints for set ups and jobs.
