Sr. AWS DevOps Engineer with Security Clearance

Marathon TS is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support a federal client in Washington DC.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain a CI/CD platform for development teams.
2. Develop and implement best practices for AWS cloud architecture and migration to AWS GovCloud.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless automation solutions and successful project execution.
4. Maintain comprehensive internal documentation for all application and environment activities.
5. Utilize modern monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.) on AWS EKS clusters.
6. Integrate performance and test automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
7. Remediate vulnerabilities in CI/CD tools and software, including container hardening.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to the CI/CD pipeline, including product upgrades, installations, and configurations.

Required Qualifications:

1. 6 years of experience in a production environment.
2. 4 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering.
3. Strong experience with container orchestration using AWS EKS clusters in a production environment.
4. Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, CloudWatch, RDS, S3, EKS, VPC, etc.), VPC, Subnets, Route53, ALB/NLB, and Security Groups.
5. Proficiency with Linux operating systems and Docker/Kubernetes.
6. Experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, YAML, and JSON.
7. Strong expertise in Git, GitLab, and Jenkins pipeline development.
