Process Engineer I (Chemical Manufacturing - High-Calcium Lime Products)

Key Responsibilities:
- Propose and implement projects to improve production and sustainability
- Conduct safety walk-arounds, audits, and complete related paperwork
- Evaluate kiln performance and address bottlenecks
- Monitor control room computer systems and handle downtime requests
- Program and maintain production preventative maintenance
- Manage capital equipment requests
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in computer and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with kiln operations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of MSHA compliance and regulations
- Familiarity with process improvements and preventative/corrective maintenance
