CNC Lathe Machinist II – 2nd Shift

Schedule: 4 Day Work Week

Job Summary
This position involves safely and effectively completing setups and operating multiple CNC machines to manufacture products. The Level II Machinist will demonstrate proficiency in CNC Lathe operations, show comprehension of blueprints and GD&T, and utilize advanced inspection tools to produce, troubleshoot, and control the manufacturing process.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in setup and running CNC machining equipment
• Minimum 4 years of precision machining experience
• Practical experience with G & M codes, tool geometry, and tool wear offsets
• Superior inspection measurement skills, including GD&T, optical comparators, microscopes, and manual inspection tools
• Practical application of machine shop mathematics
• Exposure to basic CAD/CAM desirable
• Experience with multi-axis and live-tooling machine tools; sub-spindle experience desirable
• Experience with Fanuc controls
• Experience with Doosan, HAAS, and Brother machine tools desirable
