JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking to add a Data Entry Clerk to our Data Entry team. As part of this team, you are responsible for handling, entering, and managing data for a variety of departments. The team's focus is efficiency, speed, and quality data handling. This team is a vital hub of the company.
The Data Entry Clerk will enter information into a variety of databases, perform quality checks, file documents, focus on efficiency with speed and accuracy for a range of data.
Applicants should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task, have strong organizational skills and be proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Word/Excel and Foxit.
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
- Management observation regarding attitude, diligence, and team contributions.
- Other key metrics prescribed by leadership, resulting in positive customer and Company impact.
- Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
- Type in data provided directly from customers
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Update existing data
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
- Reasoning - Ability to define and analyze a problem, gather necessary information, and draw valid conclusions for problem resolution. Ability to make effective decisions.
- Technical - Must be detail-oriented with the ability to see the bigger picture Must be result-driven, organized, and welcoming of constructive criticism. Ability to work in multi-functional roles.
- Good PC proficiency, data analysis skills, and knowledge of Excel, word.
- Ability to work well with customers, in groups, and under own initiative.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Must be authorized to work in USA
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and within the organization via all media, both verbal and written.
