Software Engineer - Java - W2 only

We are looking for a talented Java Developer to join our team in Alpharetta, GA, with the flexibility of a hybrid work environment. This role is contract to hire, candidates must be able to work on W2 without any current or future sponsorship. W2 only! No C2C, no 3rd party vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Java and related technologies.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with database technologies like SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
