About the role:

Gartner is looking for a Software Engineer to support our Research and Consulting Delivery Organization specifically supporting our Chatbot and Conversational AI initiatives.

What you will do:

  1. Develop a web-based application using React, Node.js, JavaScript and Typescript.
  2. Unit test and address defects.
  3. Participate in code review and make improvements based on feedback.
  4. Follow development process as set forth by Technical Lead.
  5. Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies/meetings.
  6. Communicate roadblocks on a timely basis.
  7. Learn technologies quickly and apply effectively.

What you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience in the field of software development. 3-5 years’ experience in supporting machine learning or natural language processing applications.

Must have:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in Natural Language Processing.
  2. Experience utilizing NLP models (e.g BERT, GPT, Sentence BERT) for vector search.
  3. PL SQL knowledge.
  4. Knowledge of development methodologies, standards, and object-oriented design patterns.
  5. Self-motivated developer who takes ownership of work.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to work and collaborate with a team.

  1. Graduate/Post graduate in BE/Btech, ME/MTech or MCA is preferred.
  2. Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
  3. Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
  4. Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 74,000 USD - 113,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
