This is a hybrid position.Your Responsibilities:Perform analysis tasks within product development activities following a structured approachPerform concept studies in support to Systems EngineeringLead and manage analysis team task assignments for the assigned projectConstruct FE models to support analysis tasksVerify and validate analysis methods used for program using hand calculations or other imperial dataComplete analyses for fasteners, lugs or other joints using industry standard methodsCreate complete Free Body Diagrams for all analyses completedProvide input to inspection and test plansPerform test evaluations and correlate analysis tools accordinglySupport technical trade-off and solutions selectionIssue (detailed) technical reports describing the work performedParticipate in internal and external meetings and reviewsCoordinate analysis tasks, e.g. within an analysis team working on the same productTest predictions, evaluation and correlationProvide summary of work completed to lead analyst for projectPeriodic travel to US sites and SwitzerlandProvide guidance, advice, feedback, and support to teammembersQualifications/ Requirements:B.S. in Engineering15+ Years of relevant industry experienceAnalysis skills on composite and metallic materials covering following domains: Structural (static, dynamic)Demonstrated success performing in a lead capacity on multiple schedule critical development projectsFEMAP/NxNastranABAQUS or other non-linear solver beneficialStrong Matlab skillsHand calculation methodsAwareness for costs and scheduleProblem solving skillsGood communication and cooperationOrganizational skillsAre you ready for lift-off?Our core values - Passionate, Together, and Curious - transform challenges into opportunities.
