Position: Informatica ETL Engineer
Location: 100% remote – EST working hours
Duration: Contract through 12/31/24, potential to extend
- 3-5 years experience
- Basic scripting in SQL
- PowerCenter 10.4 or 10.5
- Strong with Informatica workflows
- Oracle, some SQL Server
- Nice to have - JAMS - job scheduler
- Nice to have - Finance industry background
Job Description:
- Extensive experience in extract, transform and load using Informatica V. 10+
- Able to troubleshoot any failures, looking through the Scheduling tool and provide resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to track issues back to the source and dig into data to identify, document, and resolve root causes for issues
- Hands-on experience with Informatica, including demonstrated extensive experience with parallel job design and development and strong SQL coding skills
- A strong familiarity with general DBMS concepts (Oracle experience preferred), SQL and PL/SQL
- Deep knowledge of best practices through relevant experience across data-related disciplines and technologies particularly for enterprise-wide data architectures and data warehousing/BI
- Ability to prepare design documentation to express necessary details for review and ongoing maintenance
