We add value to our industry and the communities in which we work.Position Summary:Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and supervising construction projects by planning, organizing and controlling day-to-day tasks; complete quality inspections; supervises sub-contractors and field engineers.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, plans, specifications, contractual documents, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projectsProvides critical information about the current status of a project and accurately estimates how it will finish from a cost and revenue perspective from where it startedWorks closely with Walkers/Superintendents regarding project planning, field leadership, work plan development, submissions, and approvalsConducts recurring team meetings to stay aligned with the expectations and goals of a projectManages complex material supplies and drafts scopes of work for subcontractorsDevelop work plans and hazard analysis plans for crews to follow to execute the work safelyUnderstands and promotes innovation for cost and schedule improvementsInspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, safety standards, and productivity goalsPerforms complex construction designs - SOE, Hydraulics, PLC, Marine, etc.Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management.
