Bilingual Japanese Mid level Software Developer (79131-1)

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Developing professional desktop and mobile systems
2. Consulting, defining business requirements, designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications
3. Implementing new software and technologies
4. Provide technical advice, guidance, training and support to users on hardware and applications
5. Assessing and troubleshooting issues through resolution as a point of contact
6. Participating in business meetings with customers

Skills/Qualifications:

1. Experience or understanding of software design and development tools and technology
2. Experience or understanding of IT service processes, incident, problem, and change management
3. Good analytical and problem solving skills
4. Self-starters who are flexible and work well with others internally and externally
5. Taking initiative to find solutions for business requirements
6. Some knowledge of infrastructure, network and desktop environment is preferred
7. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management

Education and/or Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
2. 0-2 years experience in application design and development
3. Experience with WMS/SCM and/or freight forwarding systems a plus but not required
