Web Application Developer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain websites for multiple divisions, ensuring functionality, user experience, and performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective, user-friendly websites and applications
• Design, develop, and deploy mobile applications as part of our wellness programs and other initiatives
• Regularly update website content, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance
• Ensure websites are optimized for speed, performance, and SEO
• Implement and manage security measures to protect websites and applications from vulnerabilities
• Provide technical support and training to staff as needed
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our web and app presence
• Work closely with marketing and other departments to ensure websites and applications align with business goals and branding

Education, Certifications, and Licenses:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
• Certifications in web development, app development, or related technologies (e.g., Certified Web Developer, Mobile App Developer Certification) are a plus

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in website development and maintenance
• Experience in mobile app development for both iOS and Android platforms
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering web and app projects

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
• Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Knowledge of server-side languages such as PHP, Ruby, Python, or Node.js
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal
• Experience with mobile app development frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native, Swift, Kotlin)
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
