DePuy Synthes, Companies of Johnson & Johnson, is the largest, most comprehensive orthopedic and neurological business in the world. We are now recruiting for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join the Network Tech Ops team in DePuy Synthes.
Job Purpose:
As part of DePuy Synthes Network Edge strategy, we are increasing global manufacturing capacity within the DPS Orthopaedic franchise. This role will execute engineering deliverables in support of large-scale manufacturing capacity projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support delivery of robust and fully developed orthopaedic implant manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with QMS procedures and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with functional stakeholders for efficient strategy implementation.
- Partner with Regulatory for filings, inspections, and registrations.
- Coordinate project plans with internal and external partners.
- Provide technical leadership and support execution of EHS&S policies.
- Lead communication processes and stakeholder management.
Qualifications:
- Experienced knowledge of medical device manufacturing and validation.
- Minimum two years (preferred 4 years) of relevant professional work experience.
- Statistical and problem-solving engineering expertise (Six Sigma, SE or A3).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven competence to evaluate and act upon significant risks.
- Strong influencing skills and decision-making capability.
Education/Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field preferred.
Other:
- This role may require up to 25% of domestic & international travel.
