Senior IT Security Engineer

We are seeking a Senior IT Security Engineer in GA. This role is a permanent position offering competitive compensation (depending on level of experience) and excellent benefits. Interested candidates will be required to commute onsite each week; candidates would either need to be local to GA or willing to relocate within a commutable distance.

Targeted Skills and Experience:

• 6 years as an IT Security Engineer developing and maintaining enterprise-wide security architecture and strategies for all aspects of security domain in alignment with business strategy/goals.
• Knowledgeable in Information Security frameworks and good practices (e.g. ISO, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK) with solid understanding of computer, application and network exploits and vulnerabilities, network access, identity, and access controls.
• Knowledgeable in authentication, authorization, and access control methods, Identity Management Protocols and Software (e.g. ADFS, SAML, OKTA), cryptography and cryptographic key management concepts.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and organizational requirements relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation. Demonstrated experience in applying cybersecurity methods, such as firewalls, demilitarized zones, and encryption.
• Working knowledge of network protocols such as TCP IP, Dynamic Host Configuration, Domain Name System (DNS), and directory services, network design processes, device and client firewall policies within endpoint management systems targeting Windows, iOS, Android, MacOS, and ChromeOS devices.
• Experience working with Security Information Event Management (SIEM) and event log management, Privileged Access Management Systems (PAM), Vulnerability Management, Managed Detection and Response, and Intrusion Detection Prevention Systems.
• Prior experience working in IT within the healthcare industry.
• IT Security related Certifications highly desired (CISSP, GIAC, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
