The Opportunity
Seeking a hands-on technology leader to manage the full lifecycle of software development for our flagship Digital Signage products, with a strong presence in the US as well as a global team.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing large, complex enterprise environments and leading teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that delight customers.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development
- Guide and coach engineering managers and lead teams to deliver consistently and on time.
- Work with Product Managers to ensure roadmap commitments are clear, prioritized, and actionable.
- Lead architects to ensure products are designed for scale and future technology needs.
- Understand and advocate for the voice of the customer within engineering teams.
Leadership
- Be a “force multiplier” – bring out the best in people and build teams that strive for excellence.
- Nurture a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and resilience.
- Establish key objectives/metrics to measure and improve performance.
- Identify and remove blockers, communicate changes effectively.
- Coach and mentor team members in their careers.
Technical Skills / Competencies
- Proven success in managing software development teams for large-scale software systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cross-platform development for various environments.
- Strong knowledge of software development and quality assurance practices.
- Ability to make smart, timely, and data-driven decisions.
- Strong understanding of Operating Systems and Embedded Systems.
- Proven knowledge with Hardware Technology including Displays and Edge Devices.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in multimedia or real-time content management is a plus.
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field is required.
- 15+ years of engineering leadership experience with people management responsibilities.
- Experience in assessing, selecting, and developing talent.
- Thrives on building strong, authentic relationships and navigating alignment across boundaries.
Compensation
Annual base salary gross: $175,000.00- $200,000.00 plus variable compensation. Actual salaries will vary based on qualifications, skills, and geographic location.
