Platform Software Engineer

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Full Stack Engineer to design and build an effective and scalable CI/CD solution that addresses complex problems and impacts the end-to-end development/release lifecycle.

This role is critical to the rapid development and delivery of company safety-critical autonomous vehicle software and services. You will build innovative new solutions for running reliability, quality and safety checks at scale.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll:

1. Contribute to continuously improve the functionality, performance and reliability of the CI/CD platform.
2. Collaborate with customers to address their pain points and develop solutions to reduce manual efforts and streamline development/release processes and workflows.
3. Participate in implementing metrics to track developer productivity, release efficiency, platform performance/reliability and identify areas for improvement.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 6+ years of experience in a software engineering role
2. Experience with modern web development stacks (e.g. Python, Postgres, Javascript, Vue, etc)
3. Experience with containerization and microservices architectures
4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. High attention to detail with a focus on quality

Bonus Qualifications:

1. Experience in building CI/CD platforms
2. Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps technologies (e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI, Git, and AWS)
3. Experience in Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Helm, Terraform, etc.)
4. Experience in operating with large monorepos

Commitment: This is a full-time, 6-month, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. This role is onsite and available to candidates who are local to the Foster City, CA area.
