Position Overview
FRLE is looking for a Sr Technical Security and Signals Countermeasures (TSSC) Engineer to conduct all technical maintenance and operational support and functions to ensure equipment is maintained, active and updated in support of the nations toughest missions. - Contingent Upon Contract Award
Responsibilities
• Conduct all technical maintenance and operational support and functions to ensure equipment is maintained, active and updated.
• Perform patch management, software upgrade management, trouble shooting, software development, fault characterizations, remote maintenance troubleshooting, firmware upgrades, and other upgrades.
• Draft requests for Authorities to Operate for mission equipment to be operated, managed, and maintained on client networks.
• Performs CONUS and worldwide OCONUS travel task when required.
• Evaluate current and future TSCM equipment and produce information paper on the functionality, limitations and executability of stored equipment.
Required Qualifications
• Graduate of the TSSC Fundamental Course at the Inter-Agency Training Center, Fort Washington, Maryland, and certified to conduct Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM).
• Graduate of the Department of Defense or Federal Counterintelligence/Law Enforcement Badge & Credentialing School.
• Possession and maintenance of Information Assurance Technician Level II certification.
• Must acquire network traffic analysis training utilizing Packet Capture (PCAP) data and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, Network Miner, etc.) within one (1) year of employment.
• 10 years of experience with the installation, analysis, and operation of semi-automated receivers, antenna port switchers, small networks, direction-finding tools, and software.
• Ten years of experience in patch management, software upgrade management, network troubleshooting, software development, fault characterizations, remote maintenance troubleshooting, and firmware upgrades for semi-automated receivers and antenna port switchers.
• Current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. #qinetiqclearedjob
• Must possess current U.S. Passport.
• Hearing capability of 30 decibels or better in both ears in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges.
• Vision must be correctable to 20/20, distant and near, through normal vision or corrective measures.
• Must possess normal color vision.
