Staff Android Engineer

TITLE: Staff Software Engineer, Android

LOCATION: HYBRID (Seattle or Bay Area)

PAY: Target pay for this role is between $75-$90 per hour but may vary based on experience

ENGAGEMENT TYPE: Contract to Hire - 6 Months

What You’ll Be Doing

1. This is a Senior-level Staff Software Engineer, Android position.
2. Design and develop highly scalable e-commerce applications for the Android platform.
3. Solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology.
4. Gain exposure to various emerging technologies used in Marketing and E-commerce platforms.
5. Drive projects of high visibility across the organization.

Who We’re Looking For

1. 10+ years of experience designing and building scalable and reliable mobile front-end applications.
2. Expert knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and React-Native.
3. Solid understanding of the Android application lifecycle and advanced Android UI skills.
4. Proficiency in RESTful Services, GraphQL, Java, Spring Boot/Play Framework, RDBMS, NoSql.
5. Experience in production system operations (logging, telemetry, alerting, etc.).
6. Clear verbal and written communication skills.
7. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
