Position Overview:
Elite Paradigm is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Software Engineer to join our Atlanta, GA team. In the field of applications management, we are seeking seasoned application development engineers to join a team. The ideal applicant will have experience with Docker and Kubernetes and be a skilled Java and C++ coder.
This is a fantastic chance for adaptable self-starters to work in a dynamic setting with real-world technical content supporting a variety of tools and systems.
Responsibilities of this position will include but not be limited to the following:
- Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
- Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software
- Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions
- Designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met.
Basic Qualifications:
- Principal Software Engineer: Bachelor’s degree with 5 + years of embedded software development experience; 3 years with a Master’s; 0 years with a PhD; or 9 years of software development experience in lieu of a degree
- Candidate must have a current/active Secret security clearance to be considered
- Candidate must be able to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly )
- Experience Java/C++ programmer
- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current/Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
- Experience with Agile development
- Knowledge of DevOps
- Experience with the CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with the Jira tools
- Current Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly ) completed within the last 5 years
