Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Junior Developer to fill an open position with a leading grocer based in the greater Cincinnati area. As a Junior Developer, you will participate in development, testing, debugging, maintaining, and documenting software solutions that meet business needs. You'll collaborate in design sessions, complete estimates, and communicate effectively within the team to ensure high-quality deliverables in line with standards. This role involves enhancing existing applications and creating new ones to support various business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality codebase, participate in design discussions, and execute development tasks
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and contribute to the development process
• Assist in designing, coding, and unit testing application code using best practices
• Support the team in maintaining technical documentation and ensuring its accuracy throughout the development lifecycle

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, or programming
• Proficiency in Java, with at least 1 year of coding experience
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and familiarity with cloud message APIs, push notifications, and continuous integration
• Knowledge of SQL, code versioning tools like Git, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure is a plus
• Exposure to Spring Framework, SQL Database, and NoSQL Databases would be beneficial
