Just Construction Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Electrical Estimator on behalf of a specialist electrical contractor, this role will be based on commercial projects within Dallas-Fort Worth.
The suitable candidate must have prior experience bidding on commercial electrical projects ranging between $3m - $15m.
Our client is looking for candidates either local to DFW, or open to re-location from another area/ state.

Job summary:
The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for creating accurate and profitable bid proposals for a variety of commercial projects. In this position you will reviews proposal specifications, drawings, attends pre-bid meetings, and reviews bids together with other estimators, to ensure accuracy.
- Attend pre-bid or team scope review meetings and understand the complete scope of work required.
- Visit construction project sites for job walks and meetings.
- Review and understand all project bid documents.
- Locate, notify, and send bid information to subcontractors and vendors for quotations on outsourced work.
- Complete the estimate takeoff, using on-screen computer estimating, within time deadlines.
- Complete change order estimates for awarded projects.
- Work as a team with other estimators, company divisions, and departments.
- Assist field operations with the estimate after bid award & at project closeout.
Package:
- Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
- Re-location assistance provided for people out of state or area.

Requirements:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical estimating.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and construction costs.
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, at all levels.
