The Impact You’ll Have:
As a Graduate Traffic Engineer , you will have the ability to be a part of a cohesive Traffic Engineering team. Jump start your career by being exposed to a variety of transportation engineering experiences under the direction of a licensed and knowledgeable Professional Engineer. You will work with a variety of agencies including DOT’s, Counties, Cities and Developers:
- Supporting signal timing projects, including building, optimizing Synchro models and implementing signal timing plans
- Conducting traffic capacity, traffic operations, and safety analysis for traffic impact studies (TIS), intersection control evaluations (ICE) and corridor studies
- Traffic design – plans, specifications, quantities and estimates for traffic signal, roadway lighting, roadway signing, and pavement markings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, organization and multitasking
- Excellent technical, written, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Synchro, SimTraffic and Vissim traffic analysis software
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Microstation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- 0-4 years of experience in traffic engineering
