Position SummaryReporting to the Technical Lead, Metrea Algorithms (MAX) and supporting Metrea’s overall engineering efforts, the Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.

Required Education, Experience And CertificatesExperience: Software developer for a high priority and highly visible malware analysis modernization program. The individual will work with a team to gather information and design/create/configure tools for monitoring. Tools are developed and integrated to allow for analysis and visualization.
Required Skills- Java (8 and above), REST, Docker
- Developing, deploying applications, troubleshooting in Linux environments
- Ability to multitask and pivot to different tasks quickly
- Experience with Atlassian tools
- Experience with IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE.
