Senior Interior Designer - Multifamily Interior Design | Rockville, MD
HYBRID WORKING ROLE : 2 days in the office; 3 days remotely

The primary responsibility of the Senior Designer is to complete multi-family designs based on the company brand standards, Creative Director guidance, and Client preferences, directives, budgets, and timeframes. The senior designer will have access to a variety of support systems, including operational, project management, purchasing, accounting, and warehouse support. It is the senior designer’s key focus to be the main point of contact throughout the project, maintaining ownership of all key responsibilities related to budget, timeframes, and other project parameters, and leveraging these support systems as needed and indicated by company policies. This position reports to the Vice President of Design and Creative Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from an accredited university
- 3-5+ years of experience in multifamily interior design
- MUST have a multifamily interior design portfolio
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required
- Experience with understanding of architectural details and constructability
- Strong knowledge of multifamily property and model home construction methods and materials
- Experience with budget management – understands how to allocate budget and appropriate use of vendors
- Ability to read builder plans and comprehend
- Ability to communicate designs verbally and written plus in presentations
- Strong client relations and relationship building skills
- Ability to travel to job sites
