Description

Captivation Software is looking for a mid-level software engineer to assist with daily responsibilities on the program.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph; therefore, all candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Golang, Kotlin/Java, and/or Python.
• Experience creating containerized applications (Docker).
• Experience deploying containerized applications to an orchestrated platform (Marathon/Mesos, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Experience working independently to solve complex problems.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with asynchronous messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka.
• Experience creating and integrating with remote services via HTTP, Thrift, or gRPC.
• Experience monitoring application performance with metrics (Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana) and logs with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana).
• Experience with Machine Learning Analytics.

Benefits

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience).
