Description:

Lead Developer, Site Studio (Drupal) possesses a strong background in web development and a passion for creating innovative, data-driven solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality websites and web applications that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pro-active hands-on lead to own the end-to-end development process, identify production issues & pain points, recommend solutions for business enablement, and keep the Drupal (Acquia) projects on schedule.
  • Develop and maintain websites and web applications using Site Studio, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to translate client requirements into technical specifications.
  • Implement best practices for web development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver presentations as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge, mentoring junior developers, and fostering collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience; Master's Degree (preferred)
  • Acquia Certifications:
    • Acquia Certified Developer – Drupal 9
    • Additional Acquia Certifications (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Drupal Developer
  • 1+ years of experience as Team / Project Lead (preferred)
  • Experienced in providing solutions for medium to large websites using Drupal 9 / 10 Platform
  • Experience as a Site Studio Developer , with a strong portfolio of web development projects.
  • Development experience with Site Studio, Page Editor, Site Builder .
  • Experience with Site Factory (preferred)
  • Experience on Drupal Multisite , Multi-lingual, REST APIs, Caching Mechanism, Forms API, JavaScript API including all common APIs provided by Drupal 9 / 10
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery , and other web development languages and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to lead a team, manage deliverables, and project milestones when assigned.
  • Ability to foresee technical risks and produce mitigation plans.
